  Good atmosphere and waitstaff, food falls flat... I had the Bob Ramen, it looked ok but the taste exsposed its shortcomings. I could tell immediately that the noodles, chicken, and egg were pre prepped and heated only by the broth, why? Because the broth was lukewarm and the egg and chicken were both ice cold in the center. The whole thing was really meh... for the price I'd exspect better quality product.

  My boyfriend and I went here just tonight and honestly were not impressed what so ever with the food, I will admit there wad a nice atmosphere but seems more like a place hipsters would go to grab some drinks i ordered the Bob ramen and my boyfriend ordered a rice bowl, my noodles were not cooked all the way and I couldn't finish it because it was honestly somewhat gross, and his rice was over cooked I'm giving 2 stars because it has a nice look and feel and I think if they change and work on their food it could be amazing

  My husband took me to Bob Ramen for my birthday along with 3 family members. We had reservations and arrived on time. We had never been and had some questions regarding the dishes on the menu. Our server was not helpful at all! I ordered spring rolls and was told they were not spring rolls but lettuce wraps instead. Really? The menu is not very extensive and they were already substituting something on the menu. When they arrived they were just "ok". Most of us at my table ordered the Bob Ramen bowls. It took over 45 minutes to get our food!! There were 2 other parties who arrived after us that received their food 20 minutes before us. I kept asking our server when our food would be arriving and she kept saying 5 minutes. When it finally came it was lukewarm and very salty. I was very disappointed and won't be returning. I patronized 50 West frequently and was hoping for an awesome dining experience. I really hope the owners will read these reviews and make some changes. Also, my daughter who lives out of state had phoned earlier to order a bottle of champagne for my birthday and she said the girl on the phone was extremely rude and ultimately the bartender helped her. Focus on the quality of the food and customer service!
